How can you execute plays when recievers run to the sidelines and out routes every time, THE MIDDLE IS VACANT, yet we want bj in the pocket. We are a gimmick offense that hopes for big plays. We were a far better offense last year and we were bad. This is really bad. Coaches have failed. I never thought i'd say holtz has shown no sign of making this team better. I hate that fact. It hurts to say. I love this team even in a loss but it is coaching. Were in the same boat as UM guys.

We can say lets get it next week but the sad truth is. We are going to lose to FSU, MIAMI, LOUISVILLE, CINCINATTI and PITT most likely if we had trouble here. Shoot Ball st. is not a garuntee.

Do you actually watch college football?

Pitt is terrible. There is no reason to assume losing to Rutgers means the team can't beat Pitt. Same with Miami. And USF will beat Ball State.

pitt still has a runningback who killed us. They will be much better...do you actually watch football??? We are in no position to talk about beating anyone. We shouldnt be a favorite in another game this season.

Before the game started, someone on here said

Rutgers would spy BJ, blitz, and run it down our throats. We all knew it, but ou coaches didnt seem to.

We kept running BJ. On offense we ran one slant (open, thrown on hands, tipped and intercepted at the goal line). On D we couldn't get off the field because a 3rd and 10 plus was like a second and inches. Our "stud" defensive line never pressured the Rutgers stationary qb.

the plays are not designed for success. Rutgers hit guys in stride all day. When is the last intermediate route we hit in stride? Never, all our routes get hit immediately. Its either quick passes to the sideline (which we had working but we abandoned on the blitz downs) or deep routes by the outside recievers and out routes and posts to the sidelines nothing in the middle. Its embarassing and our coaches are to blame. Not BJ, or the recievers. Blame the coaches for leaving Lanaris in the game when he was outmatched all night.
