I think that is clear too. But, did the BE extend some kind of invite for football to Villanova? Or did they not? I read a couple of different things and I don't know when any of it happened.

don't know about recently, but they did at some point in 2011. It was Marianatto's weak attempt to add another team in the mix with TCU coming on board, and showed once again that BBall schools held the cards.

I believe Nova's board decided they would not make the commitment to go to FBS.
