Its all about the money, folks. USF doesn't have the money at this point to build an OCS. It will take some major donors and corporate sponsors to get it done the right way, maybe in 10 to 15 years.

if usf remains outside big 5 usf should not build a stadium

if you arent playing for the big prize you dont need your own stadium and it cannot be justifiably built unless it is with all private money--- including land and on going operating expenses

The best thing Coach Holtz can do to make this a reality is to win the BE Championship this year and then a BCS Bowl.

I do not see how winning our conference and winning a BCS bowl in the same year does not elevate our program. What elevates programs? Winning, winning and more winning. When you win, everything else will come.

I only know Smazza from his posts on here. Having said that, it doesn't appear that Smazza is a USF Bulls fan. From what I have read, he lives in CA and appears to be infatuated with USC. Am I wrong? Although he does spend a lot of time on here for not being a USF fan.

If the student section became smaller with an OCS, it wouldn't matter. It's not like we fill anywhere near the 12,501 seats allotted to the students anyways. So maybe having a smaller student section with an OCS will help create more of a demand among the student body. Tickets become a premium for the ones that do want to attend, and this would also make the students actually attend.
