Wonder how many go there?

Over 5,000 students according to Wikipedia.

Some towns in TX are built around the local HS, usually the HS football team is like the Kentucky Derby to Louisville, KY. Remember the movie Varsity Blues? That's not too far off ...

That's exactly what this town is about. Allen is a suburb of Dallas and is the only high school in town.

On a separate note: Are the Georgia USF tags now available? I have a couple people up there that I'm sure would like to make the switch if they are (or sign the petition otherwise).

Like FSU's far better as for comfort but UF's is louder and holds more.

I didn't make it to FSU... If UF would have had water I would have been fine... I find it interesting how they built it and the pieces fit together... lends to the tradition. The seats at UF were wide and plenty of leg room.

I'm a Gator Hater anyway, but I'll never forgive UF for running out of water AND ICE at a noon game in early September. That was bush league to the core. I'm lucky I didn't go to the hospital or have to get medical treatment during that game - I know lots of people did.

I agree with both comments, uf was too dang hot the atm machines were down and no one had water whoever moved that game to noon was nuts, as for fsu I loved it just because of the feeling I had walking and driving back home!, but it was a frying pan too.

This is what worries me about an OCS:

Last year, the Tampa Sports Authority operated at a 5 million dollar loss. Looking at the report, it looks like most of the revenue and expenses come from RJS. I'm not really sure why there are no numbers for the golf courses that are managed by TSA. I would expect similar losses for our own stadium.

Since we're jumping off subject, that first game at UCF was bad on many !

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
