Now the question is how do you convince USF Athletics leadership.....

Show demand ... There isn't a big enough demand, yet!

USF has been signing 1 year options on RayJay, they are ready!

I think you are saying that we must build a Stadium the size of Raymond James,

Not at all, agree with about 45K ... But would need to include Club to maintain our donation levels.

Not at all, agree with about 45K ... But would need to include Club to maintain our donation levels.

ET... I think everyone agrees that we'll need some sort of club area... that being said, IMO it should only be one side to begin with. IMO one of the biggest problems is that it's too easy to get access to the club areas at RJS... There's no demand for it just like there's no demand for regular tickets. You can buy club seats online for any game from ebay or stubhub or the guy on the corner of Ohio and Himes.

National recognition will be different if we have a on campus stadium, even Holtz recognizes it.

Yeah, USC and Miami have suffered terribly by not having an OCS.

yeah but they have National Championships. If we had those, this conversation probably wouldnt be necessary.

Exactly, it isn't about the stadium. A pathetic team with lousy attendence in a shiny new stadium won't win over the SEC. A national championship team in with 70,000 fans and the SEC won't care if USF is playing in The Trop.

An OCS isn't going to get us into a big time conference.

to be honest with you i really think it would help...

without an OCS... the only thing we have going for us over UCF is TV market size. Which is clearly a big deal but it's not the only deciding factor. It would be interesting to see how USF and UCF ratings stack up once they are in the BE. Eyeballs pay the bills not markets (unless ur talking cable subs).

when the next round of expansion comes... if USF is part of the mix... so to will be UCF. We need to defeat them in every way. Playing in rayjay is not a good thing.
