I hope I'm wrong but I'm not feeling the same positive vibes from Henry about USF as I once did. It appears the style of play is turning some recruits off especially after the promise of improvement. Henry is s good rebounder, defender, and he can score inside and outside.

USF desperately needs this guy, got to turn this thing around with him

Considering you made the statement, providing a link that says the style of play is what's all of a sudden turning some recruits off shouldn't be too tough ... until it comes from another source, it's just your anti-Stan ******** rearing its' ugly head again .... and for the record, I do enjoy reading your recruiting stuff,  until you start with the biased personal injections.

Now to stay on topic, more Henry news, you and I will both like this. Also this answers the question that bullgrad10 asked over in the Egbunu thread.

 

 

USF and head coach Stan Heath are in the running Faith Baptist center Demetrius Henry.

The 6-foot-9, 210-pounder has over 15 major D-I college scholarship offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Miami and USF. The Bulls are "recruting him very hard" head coach Kenny Gillion told BHSN.

USF is in Henry's top five, according to Rivals, along with Rutgers, South Carolina, Texas and Miami. Henry plans to take trips to Texas, South Carolina, and Miami in the coming months.

 

USF is also interested in Henry's teammate, Faith Baptist guard Niem Stevenson. The three-star shooting guard has been heavily looked at by both the Bulls and Hurricanes. The 6-foot-5, 180-pounder also holds offers from Central Arkansas, Central Michigan and Texas State, according to Rivals.

S/O to Miami head coach Jim Larranaga for beating the "you know what out #1 Duke". Last season he coached Miami to their first winning record EVER in the ACC(9-7, 21-13) and he has them rolling right now(5-0 in ACC). I have to say with every Miami victory combined with the offensive futility Stan Heath is putting out there, my confidence in getting the most important Dememtrius Henry, Niem Stevenson, and 2014 stud Malik Price Martin is dropping quickly.

I think he was talking about how boring Heath and our basketball team played last night and all year so far. We are a 3 point shooting spree fluke in the 2nd half of a Georgetown game from being winless in the BE so far.

This team takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many 3 pointers. Especially considering the fact that Noriega is out. We started to come back last night when Rudd and Poland were slashing to the basket. I have literally no idea why we dont do this more. Instead, we burn 33 seconds of the shot clock to put up a garbage 3. Beyond frustrating. I would think that guys like Henry, Price, Ebungu, etc. can see that if they were on this team, our offense would be completely different. Heath is doing the best he can with most of his players playing out of position.

I truly hope this is the case, because the alternative - that he really sucks as an offensive coach - doesn't bear thinking about.

 

C'mon Mr. Henry, get yourself to USF and re-write the Big Man chapter here!
