Demetrius Henry â€@ptp_meat

Life couldn't get better.. I'm truly blessed

Demetrius Henry â€@ptp_meat

Me and @_DREtheGREAT feeling it

Henry is currently on his trip to Miami and hanging with the already committed Deandre Burnett. The Canes are pulling out all the stops for Henry. If Demetrius isn't to exhausted from all the free girl service he is being given while on that trip, should be interesting is USF can make a good enough impression next weekend. Following a visit to Miami has to be tough, I would imagine that Tino Brock will be the one taking the thrill seeking Henry around Tampa. Some more free girl service will also help.

SOBE is like LA. Their is only so much Botox and Silicone can do. If he likes the real beauties, there's is no place like Tampa.

Demetrius Henry â€@ptp_meat

I really enjoyed my visit at UM this weekend !!

Hopefully he still takes his USF visit and can enjoy it even more. Probably the single most important basketball visit for USF in the Stan Heath era, maybe ever. Henry really is that important of a player to add to USF's roster.

@SFHSSports: Just spoke to Demetrius Henry @ptp_meat. Had a real good visit at UM. Loved the campus. Sounds like its down to Miami and South Carolina

@SFHSSports: Henry @ptp_meat said USF still in it but also said after this weekend that he is not sure he will take scheduled visit there next weekend

Well that's that then. Luckily we have 2 PF's already coming in with this class.

Even with 2 PFs Henry is someone you have to add, if we want to have consistent success. In my opinion would have the most impact next year if we get him, he is much more of an immediate impact than others. Regardless of rankings or potential (he is fairly highly ranked) he is a big that can score.

This^^^

As you said, Henry is more ready to produce offensively then both Egbunu and Perry whose skills on that side of the ball are still in the early developmental stage. Egbunu impacts the game with rebounding and potential shot blocking. His offense comes from running the floor, putbacks, and dump off passes. He has not been a guy that you can run your offense threw. Chris Perry is a big bodied player that does not process PF type skills yet. He's really a 6-8/6-9 center at the moment that gets his points in much the same way Egbunu does but unlike him, Chris doesn't have elite athleticism. He is a player with long arms and uses his body to try and gain position on his opponent. A guy who can come in and bang while looking to improve his offensive skills. The ideal situation would be for Henry to start at PF while Perry backs up Egbunu at the start of their careers. USF doesn't need Perry and Egbunu on the floor at the same time to much because the team becomes to easy to defend with neither player able to stretch out the opposing defense.

Right now Zach LeDay is by far the best offensive low post player going into next season.

As for as Clayton goes, with him coming off Achilles tendon surgery, one has to question whether or not he will be ready to go full speed this fall. DreKalo is 6-6, 245 PF that made his name by being powerful and explosive. With that Achilles injury, I just wonder will he be the same kind of player. I also wonder will he still be a part of this incoming class.

Clayton should be fine by the time he arrives at USF. Current timetable has him at full strength long before practice starts in October.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
