Was a good rundown of the first half of the week of competition.

Was not a fan of Jordan Palmer outwardly (and for obvious reasons) lobbying for Luke Del Rio based on "bloodlines".

Geez guys, his name is spelled wrong in the Thread title and all the way through it. I hate to be the spelling police, but it's his name.

Jordan Palmer only has a job in the NFL because his brother was the star quarterback of the Bengals. Literally, that's the reason. The Bengals would never have signed him if they didn't have Carson as their quarterback, and if they didn't sign him then Jordan would have been brought in for a tryout with some other team, MAYBE a training camp...before being discarded. That's reality.

So for him to sit there and lobby for Luke Del Rio based on bloodlines is just naked self-serving rationalization. It's a disservice to the other kids there, and it's a disservice to Luke himself. If I were coaching or organizing the Elite 11, I would have dismissed him as a volunteer coach after that meeting, based purely on that.

Asiantii Heismanâ„¢ y'all!

Nothing wrong with being the spelling police when it comes to a player's name ... Would have been nice, though, if you had brought it to our attention 2 weeks ago when you first posted on the thread. B)

Thought that was a little much, also ....

Got a kick out the Michigan commit talking about the ones he would be competing with for the top spot, or something to that effect, like everybody else was chopped liver. Also, nice to see the PSU qb was holding fast to his commit in light of everything.

Watching it right now. 10 minute in, and I'm already annoyed with this Del Rio kid. Pretty sure I've heard him talk about 10 times.

Also, no mention of the Gallagher commercial?? He was on a Geico commercial smashing watermelons.

I would say Carlton Hill, at this time in his career, wasn't too far off of Asiantii.

Still, would take Asiantii over him.

Fun to watch. Not much Asiantii talk, but I expect more next episode.

Kinda glad he didn't make that first 11 since we know how well he finished. I'm sure we'll hear a lot about him from Mr. Dilfer.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
