UCF is not, at the present time, any more of a rival than the Big 3 are. Just because they have douchebag fans to us, doesn't make it a rivalry. You guys can say its a rivalry if you want.... but you know it isn't. When you're not having to convince a good portion of our fanbase it's a rivalry, you'll know then it is ...

You are right Triple B. East Carolina has the same type of pretentious fans who hate USF like poison and feel like the Bulls have taken their rightful place in the world (whatever that means) of college football. Does that make the Pirates our rival? I don't think so.

This is definitely a natural rivalry and will be a fun one. I take great pleasure in beating UCF and will look forward to playing them in the future. To me it seemed like we had more of a rivalry with WVU than Rutgers with us beating each other multiple times.

This is not meant to be confrontational, but do you mean that statement for you, the players, or the fan base.... Beating UCF will be important as it would pertain to the conference, but I just see this rivalry as joke...

Only way we can maintain a semblance of being above them is to consistently beat them year in and year out as a conference member.

Eventually they will beat us, but we need to ensure that its like the UF vs UGA series in which UF stomps UGA 9 out of 10 times... if UGA wins once every 10 years then it does little to nothing to give the UGA fans any edge to brag.
