Just wanted to move this back up and see what the status of seats is now that we are past the donors. Love the new dome and really like my seats. Glad to be a new season basketball holder. Hoping the Bulls have turned the corner in basketball. Last season was a very exciting time. Go Bulls

Not sure if anyone caught Greg's article on June 30th:

http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/ticket-sales-rise-usf-mens-basketball

"The Bulls won't even make season tickets available to the public until Wednesday, but the early returns from existing ticketholders and boosters is promising, with 1,155 season tickets sold as of Friday, already 19 percent higher than the final count for last season (968), when the Bulls played their home games off-campus, primarily at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. They're also ahead of the 2010-11 final count in the Sun Dome, when there were 1,139 sold."

""It's impressive, the amount of people that want to buy tickets -- that lower bowl is almost completely gone, especially the middle section. We only have the end zone and the upper level," coach Stan Heath said Friday. "I'm ecstatic about the way the Sun Dome has turned out.""

As other have mentioned... lets hope that people who bought the seats, ACTUALLY SHOW UP!

Wow, I had no idea the season tickets were that low ... or should I say the walk up/single game buyers were that high.

Judging from their student participation, they probably kicked our ass in that department ...

Dome looks great. I hope the General Public shows some interest.

I was there this past Tuesday. One word of caution, at least in the corners, go and actually sit down in your seats before you buy them. Watch out for the handrails because in many cases the lower down you are (in the 2nd level) the higher the likelyhood that you will be looking at some of the court THROUGH the handrails.

Due to code, some of the handrails are pretty high up and in the line of sight of a lot of seats.

I didn't know season ticket sales are related to student participation.

They may or may not be. That's why I said probably ... because, in my opinion, it could be an indicator. Their new arena brought out the students, so there's probably a good chance it brought out season ticket sales also.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
