Denver Kirkland has opened things back up for the Bulls - as we get closer to signing day

 

Very interesting  He would make a great get. My thought ..I don'tbelieve he would of brought us up if we didn't have a least a 50/50 chance .  We have room Mr. Kiirkland on our Bus.. Our Driver is the best.

This is a huge shift since last week. I am hearing that we have a real shot with Kirkland. Starting to believe that it's possible. Al rumors of course, but they are coming out of Miami from canes followers.

The Buzz: Kirkland's recruiting experience has seen more ups and downs than the SheiKra at Busch Gardens. Miami
had a public relations nightmare when the 'Canes told Kirkland that he
was taking too long to commit (paraphrased) and pulled his offer - then
made a plea to get him 'back in the fold' after the backlash. It didn't
work as Kirkland visited, but has all but eliminated the Canes (in our
opinion). Kirkland really likes Willie Taggart but has expressed a desire to play college ball alongside teammate Matthew Thomas. Can the Bulls wrestle him away?

DOWN TO THE WIRE: - South Florida has pressed hard for Kirkland and has kept it a three team race with Arkansas - which hired former UM head coach Randy Shannon.
Miami's faux paux will play into this race big-time as Taggart and
company have constantly reminded Kirkland and his family that the Bulls
are 'ready for him.' It all depends on whether Kirkland is firm about
staying with Thomas and Ira Denson - two players he has bonded with.

Prediction: -Florida State 45 percent, USF 30, Arkansas 20, Miami 5

ESPNU shows him announcing at 920, listing Ark & FSU.  Not looking good for the good guys.

Since when did we start believing ESPN? They can barely figure out who the recruits are, much less where they are going.

I assume these kids who book a time slot with ESPN are asked which teams they consider.  Maybe they fake out ESPN, too, but I'd be surprised.

 

Hope we have a chance, but after losing TJohnson, I'm already bummed.  Hopefully Taggart has some aces.
