Ball State offers Pasco ATH Janarion Grant

Offers: USF, Rutgers, UMass, Western Kentucky, UConn, East Carolina, Texas Tech, Ball State

Last season: Grant racked up 28 touchdowns and more than 1,800 total yards to help the Pirates advance to the Class 5A state semifinals. He was among Tampa Bay’s leaders with 18 touchdowns and almost 1,000 receiving yards. He also rushed for five touchdowns, had four special teams TDs and returned an interception 102 yards for a score against Jesuit in the region final.

They say: Rivals calls Grant a three-star prospect at receiver. Scout considers him a three-star talent and the nation’s No. 36 cornerback prospect.

We say: Grant is one of Tampa Bay’s most electric athletes and top playmakers. He was the Times’ North Suncoast co-player of the year as a junior and was an all-Suncoast selection. Expect him to get more offers as spring practice continues and colleges stop by to evaluate him, RB David Emmanuel and DL Joey Ivie

I think his coach would have it spelled right here. But I have seen it spelled 4 different ways now.

I hear you, don't know if you remember but i was a huge supporter of Guy.

KId looks solid, def. has a nose for the ball, high footbal IQ and can bring the wood if necessary. From what I saw it looks like he would have to bulk up like most true frosh and somewhat question his speed. Whenever you see a player have that many long runs(against Florida schools)it makes you question the competition he was facing and if his speed is legit D-1 CB material. Regardless I think he'd be a great addition.
