I could play the obvious games also and have an extremely high average...

That comment reminds me of trying to convince my one roommate to go out with us each night to the bar. He's happy he's got laid once this year already (that is about his average for a year) and normally stays home to play PS2. He's content with the high batting average.

My other roommate and I though, although not always batting the best average, have produced many run scoring opportunties this year. I'll take a low average with multiple scores anyday over the high average with limited scores.

By the way... a 6-point differential... that's like getting a hot blonde over a hot brunette with blonde highlights... not that much difference.

Although I like the story it has not been the case for me.  I really just did not always think about it until after the fact.  Plus, just really kidding about the whole thing anyway.  I will say I like the batting average theory.  In college I did not care how many no's I got in a night.  All it took was the one yes that night that made it a good one.

Much agreed... If you walk up to 100 hot chicks in a night, one of them is bound to take you home... the law of averages... if you strike out with all 100, lower your standards enough and good fortune will come. Much agreed with what you posted...

Well The Sheriff's math is comfirmed...

Great game by go_usfbulls, perhaps the leading Rookie of the Year candidate with two wins, the highest score to date and two of the top 5 scores...impressive.
