In watching one of Asiantii's interviews, I really liked one of his answers. The person asked him what did he show everyone by unexpectedly winning the MVP. He thought about it and said "That it can be done". He seemed to really focus on the empowering, "nothing is impossible, for anyone" angle...rather than focusing so much on how awesome it makes him that he was able to do it.

He seems like a pretty good dude.

I noticed that too. Also, like how he talked about learning stuff outside of just playing QB.

I am glad he stated he was solid with us. So glad we got Montgomery last year b/c that probably helped out a lot with securing his committment.

What would probably seal the deal would be Jeff Badet declaring for USF on his upcoming birthday in early August. The two are close and Badet admits he'd be declaring for USF in no small part because of Asiantii already being here. If Asiantii starts having second thoughts some time after that, he would not only have to rescind his own verbal commitment (which you know neither he nor his dad want to do), he'd be putting his buddy Jeff Badet in a tough spot as well. All indications are that Asiantii is extremely happy to be a Bull and excited about creating his own legacy here, so none of this likely matters. But it should ease the minds of the nervous.

  • ESPN has upgraded AW. He is now the #1 dual threat QB and #146 player overall. Congrats!

Okay, I don't follow rankings at all. Please explain how the #1 dual threat QB in the country is #146 overall? Doesn't seem right.

PS, congrats to AW. Can't wait to see him in the green and gold.

Look at his offers compared to higher ranked qb's .... Plus, even though it's Scout doing the ranking, ESPN fucks up everything it touches.

Then it makes even more sense ...

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
