How many TD's did Floyd toss this year? None? Ok, just checking.

Looks like AW is high on Clemson via his twitter. Doubt he comes back this way.

Who knows how many he could throw as a junior?

In all fairness IMO the development of Floyd and the Evelds were hampered by the lackof a OL. and lack of scoring...If we had good score cushions we would have had the luxury of letting them  settle down. As I remember they were thrown into the lions den with out mutch protection.  Scrimmage is not the same as real oponents with 40,000 fans watching.

If anything it;s sad they were short-sheeted in their playing time.  That to me is the greatest tragedy.

Anybody remember The Wizard movie that was about video games and the Nintendo glove was the big thing?? Good times....

THE POWER GLOVE!!!

Geez that thing was the most useless and overpriced piece of crap.

If I remember right, in real life, you couldn't even use it in the game they used in the move

(+1 on that flashback)

More useless than the Power Pad?

Are you kidding? The Power Pad was awesome. We had some epic track and field games on that.

lol.. was that Track and Field game the only one that could be used with the pad?

Well.. at least that beats the amount for the glove :chair:

But you could cheat. In the long jump, you could step off the pad and jump back on. 50' jumps were well within reach.

Watching NFL AM and all the talk on Colin Kaepernick. Just amazes me that this guy almost never got to play college football, it was just by some freak chance a basketball game he played was seen by a Nevada asst coach.  And on top of that, a QB with over 100 rating that was 6-2 was sat so he could play in the NFL. What coach would have done that?

Oh, and when he was in 4th grade he wrote a letter to himself that he would play QB in the NFL, either the 49ers or the Packers!

Now that he has a few more options open to him, the biggest thing USF has going for it is being close to home.

So if he wants to stay close to home then he could still commit to USF. We'll just have to wait and see.

He almost can't make a wrong decision at this point. I think all of his options look like good ones. Lets hope he decides to stay close to home and enjoy the beaches, sunshine and pretty girls.

What dont we get about recruiting under holtz? He failed to recruit the most important position on the field? Who cares if he got some wr's those are a dime a dozen and can come from anywhere. The fact he was a freshman and didnt do anything in this day and age of college football means alot. Freshman everywhee are contributing at a high rate. If they dont you get someone who can. He wont smell the field if we land one of these two qb's.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
