In speaking with a couple of the coaches at signing day last year, they really wish there was an early signing period. You work on kids from 10th grade on, they verbally commit, the coaches count on that commitment and then, bam, they flip on you and you are left holding your jock. Not saying Asiantii is going to, but wouldn't it be nice if after his re-commitment that he could have signed on the dotted line and we wouldn't be going through this angst.

too many restrictions on these kids as it is. these million dollar coaches are getting the kids to flip. hopefully our coaches are out there getting other kids to flip. in the end the best recruiters will get who they want. they might miss on one or two when they decommit but they will more than make up for it when they get others to flip to them. maybe coaches shouldn't rely on verbal non binding committments. they would have the same problem with decommittments even if there was an early signing period.

doesn't surprise me. I just remember when bivins went to NCst, was concerned at that time too.
