we should at least expect to triple our TV income with the new TV deal.  what is that as a percentage of our overall athletics budget and how would that affect our balance sheets each year?  do we have last year's numbers?  take that and add $12M to it and see where we stand.

Adding that much revenue to the budget will certainly help pay off thses facilites a bit quicker.

Army, Navy, BYU, ND all bring national audiences and would be the most valuable in dollar terms. Anyone else would bring fewer total TV eyeballs.

The league is gambling that other TV networks are just as desperate for live sports programming, if not more. Representatives from CBS, Comcast (which wants a prime-time Saturday night game to compete with ABC), NBC Sports and Fox were all conspicuous by their presence at Big East football media day here Tuesday and sources indicate the bidding could escalate to between $15 million and $18 million for the rights, which would give Big East football more value than the ACC, whose teams make $13 million each in their deal.

Is the deal per team, or the conference as a whole? 

That would certainly affect expansion.
