Marinatto is expecting up to 23M per team in next TV deal

Marinatto and the Big East had an offer on the table from the Big East (their current TV partner in football and basketball) for nearly $11 million per team (football) in May. They turned it down, saying they wanted to wait, which is their option since their current deals won’t expire until the end of the 2013 football season and the 2013-2014 season.

Marinatto sees numbers in the 19 to 23 million per team range which the SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12 have signed off on in recent months.

I thought I saw something yesterday that mentioned OU, OSU and TT might go to the PAC 12.

I would think it would definitely help our chances to get those teams if the B12 splits. That is clearly the best option.

The way CSH is constructing USF into a championship program. Do anyone see USF staying in the BE if the B12 teams break up? And if the SEC take Texas A&M and OU. How fast wo

uld the ACC jump to expand? Would they dip into the BE again? And/or would they consider going after TCU for some Texas love like the SEC? No matter what, if the SEC expand with some of the B12 teams. The college football world will be flipped upside down.
