you don't have to have a "connection" - you simply need a big arena to put your name all over.

maybe when we get our plans going on the OCS, then we'll start to see a nice bidding war :)

Understood, but you cannot compare the building of the Cardinals' basketball arena, the mecca of basketball and revenue in Louisville, to the USF Sundome.  The ROI does not compare.  I guess that is the disconnect and in my opinion GS will never make that investment as long as our basketball program is dead last in the BE, doesn't make economical sense.  There are much better opportunities for them.

It will eventually happen.  First, we need a first class Basketball stadium then we can start to fund raise for a football stadium. 

How much did UCF stadium cost?
