ATTENDENCE???

What was the attendence numbers for tonights game?? I just got back and there was a good sized crowd at the Dome for a change. The student section was pretty packed. Props to the students. I walked around and realized that the Dome was pretty rocking at times. I just wish USF could win a big game for the big crowds. It seems like USF chokes too many times when the big crowd is there to watch them play. Was it nerves?? Who knows.

the "main" student section was packed, they stopped letting people in before tip off... the one behind the basket was pretty full and even people up in the second level so student cant be blamed for attendance tonight

Before seeing the total... i'm going to guess 4200, just over 1/3 full.

what a good turnout for a wednesday night, id say about 3000, and by the way I was one of the ones behind the hoop in the student section level 1....GO BULLS!!!!

4K is pretty **** good for a Wednesday night game. I had not seen it that packed for a long time. I believe it was the UL game last season in which about half were UL fans. Tonight, there were really not many Memphis fans than usual. I guess Memphis' bad season is why there fans are not travelling as well. Anyway, I hope we can get a lot of fans for the next two home games. I am thinking a win over Houston and the SUNDOME will be packed when Cincy comes to town 1/27.

It was very exciting to see a buzz about our team again... even with the very moderate to low expectations.

4K is not a bad number for USF. Especially coming off that bad season last year. If USF can ever start winning, I think the SUNDOME will get rocking again on a consistant basis. Next season, the renovated SUN DOME should help with attendence. Face it, the fans want to be able to watch the replays on a video score board.
