Credit Adam/Greg. I was trying to find someone to give credit to!

Notwithstanding who wrote about it prior to today, if you notice the original poster mentioned it beore Greg wrote his current story and right after Bennett wrote his piece. It just seemed to me that it was more likely that he got it today from Bennett rather than some old story by GA or AA. So, that's why I supplied that link.

That would be me and you are correct.

Surprise Jaquian Williams didn't get an invite. If he get to the scouting combine and show his speed. He will get drafted.

I agree.

Also surprised about Raymond, since he was mentioned quite a bit during many of our game as a player who stood out.

+1 Raymond needs to do everything he can so he can be seen by the scouts.  He is a huge raw talent.

Agreed on Raymond. Honestly, I think Skinny is a better prospect than Murphy and he was 3rd rounder.

Note: I think Murph was/is also a good prospect, I do not devalue him like many around here have.

Murphy was a physical talent, it was his head that often got him and USF into trouble.  Don't think I've ever seen a player where you knew at a critical time he was going to hit someone late.  I'm all for intimidating folks and sending a message, but many of those 15 yarders were so blatant the refs couldn't help but throw a flag and they were always in situations where we were going to get the ball back if he does nothing.

I hope he does well in the NFL, bc the talent is there.  Raymond was a good CB for us and I wish him success, but this year we just didn't have the buzz to really help out guys like him and he needed more stats really to be noticed since he isn't a guy that's been "followed" since HS.  Look at Noel Devine at the Senior Bowl right now.  Seriously, guy is 160lbs, 5'6" i think and proven to be fragile yet he's there over guys with stats that are better.  Why?  I seriously think it goes all the way back to his hype coming out of hs.  His name had enough brand equity to push him from not being invited to being given a shot.

The fact of the matter is that most teams shyed away from throwing near Raymond. That wasn't as much the case with Murphy. I expect he willl make the most out of any opportunity he gets and land on some NFL team.

If given the chance I think he can stick.  The hard part is getting noticed enough to get the shot.  Look how hard it's been for Trae and he had the stats and was drafted.  Being drafted always gives you that little extra chance to pan out...

Sometimes it is better to go undrafted and then you can pick from a number of teams, rather than to be drafted in the 6th or 7th round.

Way to go Skinny!

BTW, this is Dixie State College in St.George Utah, and has nothing to do with "Dixieland"...
