They need to let the QB play. Jesus UConn is going to get slaughtered in a BCS game if we lose.

But I thought it wasn't Fitch's fault? Which is it?

One thing is for sure, if Uconn win's this game they will embarrass the big east by getting slaughtered in their bowl game.

No lie there, for sure. Maybe that's why I'm so frustrated. Our season is over (except obviously whatever bowl we end up in), but for the good of the BE (and by trickle-down, for the good of us), UConn just can't go to a BCS bowl.

Yeah, we have nothing to lose here, like I mentioned before, if you never throw the ball more than 5 yards down field, Eveld is not going to have any space to throw the ball. Both picks have been on tipped/batted balls. Both times, if the safeties were playing deeper, the ball would have fallen to the ground, or they would have picked diving to the turf.

Personally, I am still impressed with Eveld. His passes are accurate, poise still looks good, he can move a little, just need to open the offense up a little, run some more, and someone else has to make some plays. Mo has looked good, no reason to throw full time, and when we do throw, push the ball down the field to spread them out a bit.

What is with the playcalling? The play with the pick is one thing, but why have we fallen in love with the screen to wide receivers. On our own 20 with 35 seconds left we throw three short wide passes!!!!!!!! Fitch WTF???? Were you just trying to get picked again?

UCONN never impresses. They just go out and execute their running game. Just pound the ball, disciplined team and tough defense. Old fashioned football.

We very rarely throw the ball down the field. UCONN defense can slide out and get in his throwing lanes on those WR screens. That's about all we seem to run regardless of who is throwing the ball. The poor level of WR is evident.

have to stretch the defesne. were going to be limited with them running the ball the second half especially they get the ball to start.

Fault of BOTH but at the end of day the QB has to make the plays.

We can't afford to give up any points on the first drive.

Our offense is anemic so far.

This isn't a WR or QB problem. I mean all the things that were working Pass to EL and run MP, we just abandon. Fitch get a clue, if it ain't broke.....
