Not to be a negative nelly, but a W aint happening today. Mathematically we're still in it, but 3 and out over and over again, with the odd turnover thrown in, isn't going to cut it. We're not winning tonight.

Having said that, and lamenting UConn getting obliterated in a BCS bowl, how many years do you all think it will be before we make it to a BCS bowl with a SOLID chance of winning it (i.e., not sliding into a game backasswards like UConn)?

Looks to me like UCONN is just simply lining up and outplaying us. Has nothing to do with coaching, they are just going out there and playing better football.

America, be prepared to be lulled to sleep by one of the most boring teams in college football. But I also think the game will have a lot of action as whoever uconn plays will most likely being scoring many many points to embarrass the big east.

I don't really seeing any team blowing UCONN out. They play and execute a good ball control offense and they have a good defense. They make very few mental errors. They always just play solid football.

Its hard to say how long before we are a real BCS game contender. We need a good) and we need real playmakers all over on offense. Maybe we have that in Scott, who knows right now. I have faith in the defense, but very little right. Now in the offense this year or until proven otherwise, next year.
