Rivals Radio / Bill King

For those that don't think USF folks call Bill King, Ben Busbee's dad and myself will make at least 3 to 4 calls a season to talk up the Bulls.

Part of the reason that it seems SEC/southeast biased is because he airs from 7 am to 10 am, a majority of callers will be from the eastern time zone.

I didn't hear it today, but did hear a USF caller last week (I think from Lakeland). King talked up Holtz pretty good then too.

It's sirius 122. I listen to it every morning on the way to work. I'll start listening in the office when the season starts. It streams on the internet too, just google "rivals radio". It's usually a very good show, Monday's during the season are great, he breaks down a lot of games.

I was amazed at how much love King was showing.  He wasn't just talking about Holtz, he had so much emotion and you could hear the animation in his voice when he spoke.  He was big time loving on USF.  That was the amazing part.

He mentioned we had been #2 in the past but didn't deserve to be there.

I'd disagree with that from the standpoint that at the time the first BCS poll came we were undefeated and had more quality wins than any other undefeated team at that point of the season.

Generally Bill King is pretty positive when it comes to his predictions. He didn't like the Bill Stewart hire at West Virginia but at the same time he said he was a big Bill Stewart fan. I rarely hear him say anything negative about a coaching staff so him speaking positivly about Holtz is not surprising.

Mostly caters to his audience so the big schools all get a lot of love.

What time is the program on?

Anytime before noon you should be able to catch it. They have the live show and right after it i believe they replay the whole show over if i recall. It seems that when ever im in my car in the AMs some variation of it is on.
