I think Holtz forgot to mention one freshman in this interview.

FRESHMAN IMPACT: During USF’s stay in Vero Beach, the Bulls gave the true freshmen plenty of reps to fully gauge their potential to play a role on this year’s team.

Holtz mentioned that five of the freshmen – OL Quinterrius Eatmon, DB Mark Joyce, RB Marcus Shaw, CB Terrence Mitchell and QB Bobby Eveld – have improved significantly since camp started.

“Those five guys all have a chance to turn and be in our two-deep,’’ Holtz said. “That’s a lot of freshmen that are all of a sudden in the mix

Glad to hear Shaw in the mix at rb from what what I read he looked the best of all the backs, hope he gets a shot I say play your best even if it means sitting a senior.

I agree. Especially with Hayes not making it. BTW, he's already doing very well at UH.  >:(

Have you read anything on Hayes at Houston? Beyond the stories when he announced he was going there, I hadn't seen anything about how he looked in practice or anything like that. If you have a link, would be interested to read ...

FINALLY. No major surprised. The secondary looks deep.

On O we can go traditional with 2 WO, 1 TE, 2 RB all the way to untraditional with the lineup given. Pretty cool. Looks like coach is not yet confortable listing a frosh as his backup qb yet.

Glad to see Bonani all the way back.

QB position shows how little we should take from that scrimmage they had last week.  We heard how bad BJ did and how well Gunsby did, however he still is not the clear backup.

Also, I wonder if Streeter wishes he would've chose USF.  Would've clearly been the second starter next to Bogan, and now he hasn't even cracked the second team at Miami.

Haha, there's a blast from the past. Good ol' Tommy Streeter.

There's a few guys I wish we got and that would be getting a lot of playing time here now.

How about Odoms that chose Michigan? I think I saw him on the field last year for UM, and he was decent.
