Sounded like Scott Carter asking him about the depth charts and Coach said he just hasn't gotten around to putting it on paper. Said he has met with the coaches and it is done but "I've been busy". Said he would try to get it done tonight.

I honestly don't understand the fascination with a depth chart. If the guys are good enough to be considered for starting then they will get run during the game. Personally I hope he names a depth chart just to light a fire under some guys.

Mostly as cm said, so we can begin to ***** and moan about something else. I'm curious to see where Gunsby is on the depth chart. Is he on the 2 deep at QB, or is Landi? Plus it means that we are one step closer to the season.

Logistically thinking, they've got another practice this morning, then pack up and hit the busses, get back to Tampa to their families tonight, then sit down tomorrow to talk about how the camp went.

Personally, I wouldn't expect the 2-deep until the end of the day tomorrow at the earliest...

I've been thinking that they will release it Saturday.

Does anyone think it make sense to redshirt Gunsby this year, since we have no chance of winning the Big East this year, start taking snaps as a Sophomore, and have him groomed to replace BJ in about three years as a Jr. That should give him lots of time to really understand the offense and grow as a team leader by then. I thought that was the Plan for BJ before MG went down. Why is that any different now?

Out of pure necessity, I don't think that they will. If we are as thin at Wide Out as we think, then we shouldn't bring Landi back to QB. As for learning the system, I think that Gunsby is more familiar than we think. JMVHO
