NOBODY ever gets pulled over for no valid driver's license.

He must have been pulled for something else, and maybe this was just the easiest charge to make stick.

I agree... probably straight up racial profiling (happens all the time to the eses' in Arizona by Sheriff Joe and his cronies). Bet he was making out with some white women in the car and the cop got pissed that he wasn't getting any play. The only cop I trust in Tampa is Gene Haines. That guy is a rock star! He understands the plight of the student athlete...

We need to start a Free Sam Barrington petition... or collect some money so we can get ready to post bail for him the next time he gets pulled over.

When I was in college I didn't have a car (or a license for thât matter) my first two years. I had enough pretty females getting me from point A to point B. Trust I was nothing but a nerdy engineering student with a nice smile and some nice triceps.

you guys piss and moan over suspended license issues. imagine what you will do when we hit the big time and we have guys arrested for DUI, shooting an ak-47 at a bar patron or stealing a teammate's dead girlfriend's credit card and charging it up(all gator charges under meyer-who only takes the top 1% of 1% to play for him!!).

1st conviction = 2nd degree misdemeanor - up to 60 days in the county jail and a fine of up to $500  

2nd conviction = 1st degree misdemeanor - up to 365 days in the county jail and a fine of up to $1,000  

3rd conviction = 3rd degree FELONY  - up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000

Yep, its just a suspended license!  How many does Sam Barrington have at this point???
