USF training camp

Frankly, we're spending millions upgrading Athletics, including soon to be practice fields for football, training facilities, weight room, all our training staff is on our campus. Nobody else is around campus early on in training camp, so I don't really see purpose of "getting away". What would be the purpose of doing it in Lakeland or Bradenton? That's already the Tampa Bay area. Want to do it Ft. Myers or Ft. Lauderdale or somewhere like that, maybe.

Lakeland is IDEAL, especially if it is in and around the Lakeland High area. That is the school we need to establish a pipeline with.

I'm with Jason@ Disney. Then hold a players and coaches clinic for all central florida high schools.

This is all about team building. 

My guess - Vero Beach.  Dodgertown.

Why can't we build the team on campus?

If we are going to do this, I agree go all out, send them to either Disney (the level of anger of UCiF fans would be awesome) and the facilities are great, or go into a new area of the state that we aren't as well known.

And there is a new IMG-like competitor setting up in Lakewood Ranch that could also be a good option.

Making this an annual retreat in Manatee or Polk would really cement that area as Bulls country.

USF Training camp in Lakeland would be sweet and would help with recruiting football talent in Polk County.  Bryant Stadium in Lakeland would be a great spot.
