I never said BJ was suppose to play like a senior, in fact I said I loved BJ's game particularly his running ability.  Although he does have to eliminate his propensity to want to significantly retreat while scrambling.  That's something he did throughout the season, even in the bowl game, and is not about being a senior it's something a RS-FR shouldn't do.  Sometimes just drop and take the sack or throw it away.  He'll get that, but my discussion was more about how dynamic of a runner he is and fun to watch.

I would agree that he would need to eliminate the retreating and the need for a dynamic plays. But it's also all apart of being a inexperienced freshman QB. And as for the missing of short routes. Thats what the spring and summer pratices for. I must learn to trust his eyes and plant that right foot in the ground and let the ball go. The kid got talent, just got to learn the game.

exactly, although matt was a great qb he didnt have a qb whose strength was passing to learn from. We are going to hope now he is getting proper plays and instruction to run a legitimate offense instead of a gimmick. Im going to give BJ the benefit of the doubt here on being able to run holtz offense.

Southern Pigskin Top 75

SouthernPigskin.com Contributor Thomas Johns and members of the SP.com staff announce the Southern Top 75. Become a fan of us on Facebook at the SouthernPigskin.com Facebook Page

October has arrived and in the midst of college football and the start of conference play, the recruiting season is in full swing. Featuring high school seniors from our coverage area, SouthernPigskin.com announces our Southern Top 75.

Featuring the nation's best high school senior, Jadeveon Clowney, from top to bottom our list is filled with tomorrow's superstars including Clowney who many scouts think might be the most athletic defensive prospect that's come around in decades. Also, elite offensive tackle Landon Turner has found his way onto the list. Last year Turner was one of a few juniors who made our postseason All-South team. Like a few others included in the Southern Top 75, Turner is verbally committed to North Carolina and plans on enrolling in January.

Curtis Grant from Hermitage High School in Richmond looks like he starts for your local BCS program. And he plays like it too. Grant is an elite talent that is considering schools from all over the country.

Encompassing players from the south, Florida again is flexing it's college football recruiting muscle with 27 players from the Sunshine State on the Southern Top 75.

Looks like Miami's trying to snipe EC at the 11th hour after not giving him an offer earlier.  We'll see if Skip can keep him as a commit.  I really hope this isn't a tough one, especially after we beat them this year in Miami and UM has a set of new coaches.

3 star OLB Edsel Caprice is being recruited by Miami. He ran a 4.45 in the Nike Combine earlier this year. No offer yet. He is very raw.

Truth doesn't always come from unbiased sources.  Refer to USF's Scout page for same information:

Just wasn't familiar with the Twitter page, so I was hesitant to take it as 100% true.
