I know UNC is putting together another very good recruiting class, but so far trhey have no players from Florida. They also had much better recruiting classes than us the last two times we played, but DESTROYED them anyway.

I hope Edsel watches some of the YouTube videos of THOSE games, before he makes his choice.

I really think he is coming to USF.  Tampa is 10x more exciting than Chapel Hill.  And this isn't a basketball recruiting battle, this is football. Do they even know they have a football team at UNC?  That school is basketball, basketball, and basketball.  USF is all about football.  This is Florida, that is just what we do.

I am confident he will be a Bull.  I hope the coaches showed him the beat downs we put on UNC the 2 times we played them.

The guy who was knocking USF in that thread on his facebook page is his friend Tre Boston who goes to UNC. He's probably one of the main reasons why Edsel is considering them. Trey went to North Fort Myers HS (same school as Quenton Washington). Boyd or Washington should get on that thread and give it to Tre about those USF blowouts.  ;D

lol unc is really good. they have a incredible defense. this kid has a tough choice. I like watching these videos...the fact is that defense won us tons of games. they played together and knew what they were doing. It hasn't been the same since.

UNC is supportive of football, and happen to be coming off a down year in basketball.  People are excited about football here, and real Carolina fans are supportive of most sports, women's included.  I have a lot of respect for them, and Chapel Hill is a very nice town.  They've out-recruited us more than once before...so don't underestimate them this time.

That said, I do bring up our previous games against them fairly often...  ;D
