Hopefully it is just a bad sprain.  It says they are going for xrays.  He might be ready for the season who knows.

Worst possible position for another injury. Hope it's as minimal of an injury as possible, need him big time this coming year.

2nd worst....no QB and it doesn't matter who we have going out at WR.

This is devastating news for all of us. He was our future #1 guy let's hope it's nothing more than a football injury. I'm hoping the ambulance was precautionary.

Talked to some football players while working here in the Marshall Center, they said that his ankle looked pretty nasty.. Not too good considering that we don't have much depth left in the way of  receivers..

I seriously expected him to have a pretty big break out season. I loved his play last season

This sucks.  As if our season wasn't hexed enough. 

Lost a ton of players.  Lost Ford.  AJ injured, and questionable.  New Coach.  And now Sterling. 

I'm not happy, though I realize it is out of our control.

What I will say, is I watched the FSU game this weekend and Sterling had that great TD catch.  It was fun to watch that game again.

We wish you the best on a speedy, and I do mean speedy, recovery....

A loss yes but devestating - no.  I liked Sterling alot and thought he wass going to be really good but Carlton Mitchel was our biggest loss at WR.  We have plenty of young guys to step up and lots of speed to go with them  Lamar;Fayson;Hopkins,etc take your pick. .  Times like these often end up making a new star.  Afterall, was the season over when Grothe went down last year ?
