PAC10 Invites Utah...

Pac 10 added some mediocre teams. Colorado and Utah are both 'eh' adds.

Colorado yes, Utah no. Utah has played in BCS games recently.  They have accomplished more than us in football and are a superb addition to the Pac 10.

Boise State has played BCS games recently too. I don't think adding them would be a splash either.

Accomplishing more than USF isn't really a way to judge a program, especially when a conference is expanding to get it. Does Utah really add much to the Pac-10? It could've been anyone and been an equivalent add, the big deal is they get their championship game.

Utah was good way before Boise State. And they have much better tradition than Boise. And accomplishing more than USF is a way to really judge a program, especially when they have been a dominant non bcs school, something we were not.

ok dwowarp, I guess people around you are clamoring on about the Pac-10 adding Utah? Nebraska to the Big Ten was a big splash, adding Utah and Colorado adds some good markets and depth to the league but it's not exactly mind blowing news and doesn't really increase the prestige of the USC-12.

it decreases the "Prestige" of the MWC....kinda puts a wrench in them "deserving" an auto-bid. just a thought

Yes, making it likely that TCU would jump like crazy on an invitation by a BCS Conference. The Big East should be talking to them right now (perhaps they are). TCU would be a solid addition to the BE!
