Incredibull - Maybe you should brush up on your history or maybe you aren't talking about the BCS bowl games because Cinci lost the the last two BCS bowl games they played and looked bad in both of them.  UF and VaTech just man-handled them and made the BE look bad.  Pitt hasn't been to a BCS bowl game in years and the last one they did they got embarressed by Utah.

Since Miami etc left our BE hero and team saving face for the BE has been West Virgina.  They beat the mighty SEC champ in what amounted to a home game for Ga in Atlanta and then destroyed OK the next year in the OB.  Even UL won their game at the OB.

I would say we have WV to thank for saving face - they were awesome.

This might be it on expansion for awhile.  Utah might be added to the pac 12 and that's about it.  Hopefully USF can take that next step in football over the next couple of years, and our stock will rise.

Hopefully USF can take the next steps in BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, TRACK & FIELD, etc.. oh and ACADEMICS (getting the invite to the AAU)... over the next couple of years and our stock will rise.

I know this sounds crazy, but how about improving USF on all fronts in order to make the BigEast, as a conference, stronger?  Everyone is so eager to jump to greener pastures instead of pulling for what we've got to succeed.

I didn't say they won or lost, what I was referring to is the national respect they got in terms of ESPN/TV coverage, and rankings before during and after each season.  I never said they won their bowl games or BCS Bowls.  So I don't need to brush up on anything.  How about you not take my words out of context.

OK - those were "your" words. The BE was about to lose its BCS status after Miami etc left and had all the media laughing at it.  Throw in the Pit loss to Utah and it was a bad one - it was looking like the BE may have been toast.  The next three years UL & West Virgina won their BCS bowl games - got tons of positive media coverage and got the BE some respect.  Now the last two years Cinci reps the BE and gets it butt kicked in their BCS bowl games and your trying to tell me that was success ?  Pitt ? They have done nothinng but I hope if they win the BE this year they wipe the field with whomever they play.  I mean even USF for a short period of time got alot of press for the BE when it got ranked #2 in the country.  Maybe we measure thigs differently but winning BCS bowl games is mine.  I mean Oklahoma has recently been awfull in their BCS Bowl games and that does reflect badly on the Big 12 err Big 10  errrr  what ever it is today.
