Where were all of you posters when this board had like 3 people? Where were all of you when USF had but men's basketball? Where were you when football was but a dream? ---I'm being rhetorical, don't answer! (The point: USF sports is a work in progress.)

It's so immature of the fans to:

(1) boo a player(s) during a game.

(2) leave early when the leam is behind.

(3) not to show up when the team has a losing record.

(4) call for the firing of staff.

I could go on...

Okay, some of the offensive plays have been questionable...

But, are you going to blame playcalling when we didn't have QB options (to be kind)?

Are you going to blame playcalling when players drop the ball?

Are you going to blame playcalling when the defense was soft all year?

And,if you are going to blame the offensive plays, then you had better give some credit to the running game: we had a great ground game this year. What if we had had QB options?

Marquel Blackwell put USF football on the map! Yeah, say whatever you want, but two years without him says a lot...

My point:

Calm your a$$ down. The season is over. Let USF heads decide what's best. After all, we've gotten this far...

Show some loyalty to the people who have helped USF.

Great post by BasketBull.  Alot of us are still on cloud 9 with USF because we know how far we have come. A 4-7 means little to me right now because we will improve. True USF fans know that this will be a great ride. Being a USF fan is a life time commitment that requires dedication. A true USF fan wont ***** about the 11am start time. A true USF fan wont ***** about what team we are playing at home. A true USF fan wont ***** about the coaching staff because we are too young to know any better. These players and coaches are giving it their all out there while most of us sit back and judge. My point is that we need to stick with our Bulls through the bad times as well as the good. You USF fans do that, and we will be better off for the future.

I think you have a point. Two years with Marquel does say a lot. It says alot about the offensive staff's ability to recruit and develop.

Sorry but I was/am/and have been here for the entire time. I am a huge Bulls fan but I dont see anything wrong with #4 on your list.  We had one of the worst offenses in the country.  Sure a good QB would have been an option but the terrible play calling ALL year long was pathetic.

Say what you want about me. I am a die hard Bulls fan.

I'm still not sure what your point is, so are we not supposed to question the coaches or the play calling?  If we do are we immature and not real fans?  I don't get it, if we see the world without Bulls glasses on does that make us lame?  

I'm a little confused on why calling for the firing of a coach if you think he deserves to be fired makes you immature anyway?  How do you define immature?  And I'm not really sure how quesitoning plays, coaches or anybody's job makes you unloyal.  In fact, I would think anybody who took the time to post any of that is probably more loyal than most, more loyal than those who just leave and don't give a lose or the team a second thought.  So, the whole thing really escapes me.  And as you said the season is over, there is a basketball game tomorrow, why are you still harping on football season?  Might it be the witch hunt is really from those who don't think anybody should ever say anything bad about the team going after those who do?
