The best punishment for these guys would be for Heath to make them stay behind as the team heads to Brazil.

I wouldn't go that far, but if I were Coach Heath, I would call the manager of the Village Inn and have both Fitzpatrick and Burwell work two or three nights in the dish pit.  Pays off their meal, punishes them for their actions, and teaches them what they could be doing the rest of their life if they throw it away by doing something stupid.

If college has to teach them right from wrong, or "How not to be stupid" It's way to late.

The best punishment would be to make them eat at villiage inn every day for a month.  :D

Seriously though, I'd suspend them and make them work for free at villiage inn to repay their restituation for the next few months.

I would make them work there, for free, 2- 3 days a week for the entire summer.  This was a really stupid and unecessary thing.  The players EAT FOR FREE on campus.  It is not like they are starving.

You can't screw around in Florida stealing stuff without the possibility of facing a hard long sentence in a Florida state prison.  Ask Adam Bollenback who is now almost finished serving 10 years in prison for stealing a 6 pack of beer when he was 16 years old!
