USF must win these next two home games!!!

itLooking at the remaining schedule, USF must beat FIU and Texas-Arlington before C-USA play begins. That will put USF at 7-4 (6-4 if you discount the DivII win) right before conference play. Here are the games that I believe USF should win in C-USA.

1)@ECU (USF should be able to win that game since ECU is struggling). 8-4 (1-0)

2)UAB  (This game could go either way if we have a good home crowd, I will put it down as a loss.) 8-5 (1-1)

3)@Marquette (USF wont beat a very good Warrior team) 8-6 (1-2)

4)MEMPHIS (USF wins this with better coaching against a struggling Tiger team) 9-7 (2-2)

5)Houston (USF has to win this game) 10-7 (3-2)

6)CINCY (USF loses a close game in Shootout) 10-[b]8 (3-3)

7)@UAB (game will be tough on the road=L) 10-9 (3-4)

8)@USM(USF wins this game if stay healty)11-9 (4-4)

9)TULANE(USF better win this game)12-9 (5-4)

10)STL( STL looks very aweful, USF must win)13-9(6-4)

11)@UL(USF loses, but will game be close?)13-10(6-5)

12)@Houston(USF needs win on road)14-10 (7-5)

13)ECU (USF owns dome by beating ECU) 15-10(8-5)

14)@DEPAUL (USF cant keep up with Demons)15-11(8-6)

15)@TCU (Road loss that should be winnable)15-[b]12(8-7)

16)CHARLOTTE(USF wins on senior night)16-12 (9-[b]7)

So USF finishes regular season at 16-12 (9-7 in C-USA) before heading to C-USA tourny. It can be done if we stay healthy and not have players leave. Bullieve it!!!!!

I feel optimistic about the next 2 home games, but once we hit CUSA all bets are off. Anything more than 4 or 5 CUSA wins would be an accomplishment IMO.

We will not be favored in ANY games on the road. Fact is we havent beaten SMISS on the road even with Seth;s best teams playing USM teams going nowhere.

If we go 16-12 then coach MC should get an extension.

Like I said on another thread, 16 teams is not out of the question at all....Adding to the fact that this team can flat out shoot the basketball and will cut down on the turnovers as the season continues, but some teams in the conference are simply not playing very good basketball...Houston, Saint Louis, Memphis, Tulane, ECU and even Southern Miss are not very strong and USF should be able to win these games....I like BB2000 prediction but I think we will beat either Marquette, DePaul, or Cincinatti....

There are enough bad teams in C-USA that we ought to be able to win a few games in conference. It helps that we play ECU and Houston twice each. We do need to take care of FIU and UTA first though.

Dam it BB2000, i was just getting myself back to lowering my expectations and now you have to go and get me all reved up again.  I think right now all those teams we say are not playing well are probably looking at us as "W" for them.  I just hope we make the conference tournament this year.

This is a team who lost to MVSU on the road. I'm encouraged by our close loss to SC but the truth is the Bulls have never been a good road team. Although, we did steal one @Louisville a few years ago when they were in a down year. If you have a late lead and are able to hit FT's, anything's possible.

Just beat the teams we're supposed to beat at home and maybe win a couple on the road, and I'll have no complaints.

Dam it BB2000, i was just getting myself back to lowering my expectations and now you have to go and get me all reved up again.

It will take more than that for my expectations to be raised...
