he was ready in his mind and that is the most important thing-- all these people claiming he COULD have had a stellar senior season skip over that he could have also gotten hurt or faded into the background.

his stock was about as hot as it was going to get. AS far as school is concerned, even if he isn't done with school yet, he's a Tampa kid and can easily come back to finish whatever credits he is needing and move on to whatever other profession he has in mind should the NFL not pan out.

for those who think he was going to need that senior year to improve his skill set-- you are ignoring the level of coaching he will receive in the NFL versus college ball, not to mention being 100% focused on football (no classwork or other distractions).

Kiper just made a comment about him.  Said he was shocked he dropped this far, compared to Brandon Marshall.  Said he's going to be a major steal.  Hope Carlton heard that.

Hope my bears can steal him. And it was his choice. He was ready for a new challenge and he's going to get drafted and make a lot of money. Maybe he would have made more if he waited but he was ready to go and I'm not gonna second guess it. Woulda been nice to have him but he's going to be fine.

Unless its almost a total no brainer for guaranteed money or close to that, at least 3rd rounder, I am not a fan of coming out early.

He could have been ready in his own mind all he wants, but his on field production over the long haul indicated otherwise.

Even if he gets drafted drafted at this point he has a tough road ahead. I believe getting the reps as a starter and as a possible go to receiver would be more beneficial in the long run and then he could have come out next year.

There is insurance cllege players that expect to be drafted can buy to protect themselves financially in case of injury.

I thought he was gone in the 3rd. He will be a big steal for who ever gets him.
