Smart guy have your family help you make this decision.  Wise move.  I am impressed, that is someone who understands that family has your best interest at heart.

Good luck Mr. Smith, love to see you as a Bull, I could see you doing big things and going pro.

S/OLB Laquentin Smith of Dr. Phillips high school in Orlando said he and Roderick Ryles plan to make an official visit to Arkansas for the Alabama game Sept. 25. Smith hopes to announce his decision on Sept. 16.

hate the way this sounds. Sounds like his official visit will be a victory lap for Arkansas since it is coming after his announcement

DB Laquentin Smith (6-1, 208) of Orlando, Fla., wanted to commit before the season, but now is not so sure. His top three are USC, Arkansas, and USF and he wants to take all five of his officials. He said his top three are even.

Looks like from a few articles that SC is back in the mix for Smith as well

Well, they certainly won't get a victory over BAMA on the 25th.

September 16th is his b-day.

He hasn't posted anything on FB to indicate that he has made a decision one way or the other. He's made a couple of cryptic comments, which may relate to recruiting, but it's hard to tell.

I can't see SC in it, but if they are, we don't stand a chance.

Second, Laquentin posts very little on his FB page. The cryptic comments I mentioned were these:

Laquentin Smith

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
