Fought hard but lost 7-3 in the end.

There was a pep rally? Where was the one place that it was posted at? Marketing needs to bring back the sandwhich boards, thats the only way students find out about the games. Not everyone reads all the way to the end of the article in the back of the Oracle, so no one ever knows when there are games.

Ok its wasnt really a pep rally like Skip Holtz's press conference but it was a couple of people and rocky handing out little ads in the oval area outside the MSC while they played music.

We left close to 12 men stranded on base, including a bases loaded in the 4th(or 5th).

Once again, its evident that our hitting is our weakness. When its on, we are a hard team to beat; when its not....well.

Was there a reason why Lockwood didn't play tonight?  I just saw the box score and he wasn't listed at all.  Is he nursing an injury?

Last year there were barely any Knights fans in attendance. I doubt there will be a lot there.

In any case, in was a nice crowd.  UCF had about 50 fans.  USF probably had about 300.

And as someone said, timely hitting was missing.  We had double digits in hits in the 7th.

Also, there was a Mike Burwell and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick sighting at the game.

Sat next to Sam Mende's dad and he didn't know why Ryan Lockwood didn't play.

Was there a reason why Lockwood didn't play tonight?  I just saw the box score and he wasn't listed at all.  Is he nursing an injury? 

They said on the broadcast that he was hurt in the Cinci series. Fouled a ball off his knee or something.

Number of hits =/= good hitting.

We left 10 on base, had 12 strikeouts, and hit into 1 double-play.

We were able to get people on, just not over and in.
