Baseball and Softball Stadiums

Softball is going to flourish with this setup.  Their improvement from current digs to this is far greater than baseball's upgrade.

Why aren't the women more deserving?  They have a much better conference and tourney record over the years then the men, and have alsays played in what looks like a  parks and rec. mens softball field.

Does anyone know if the new stadiums will have locker rooms? It seems like a far walk from the athletic building.

No. The current lockers rooms are in the athletic building. To my understanding they will have new locker rooms and coaches offices in the new ballpark.

That wasn't my question which, looking back at it, is confusing as hell, but you did supply the answer he was looking for .... I thought, since the new fields are where the current baseball field is, it still wasn't that far of a walk from lockers in Athletic bldg to the new fields.

You are correct and that is why I believe that is phase 2 of the construction.

I'm praying Woolard just saw your post. Make it happen DW! I cant remember how many times I have been at the games, and totally forgot they dont take cards....screwed me.

Not sure if they'll have credit/debit card access at the new stadium.  Do they have it for hoops games?  My guess would be if they have it for hoops, they will have it for baseball at the new digs.  Then again, I'm not sure who works the concession booths during the baseball games so it could be a training type issue for volunteers, etc.

I don't think they have it for hoops. But the Sun Dome isn't USF, it is run by someone else. So it could be that it is their fault that we don't have it over there.

Well the original renderings are a few years old I believe.

The sundome doesn't have it, cause they use portable concession stands and don't own wireless terminals. It wouldn't make sense for them to invest in credit card acceptance now in the dome, if there's plans of renovation in the near future.

There's NO way the new baseball/softball stadium is built without it. It would be bush-league to not accept credit/debit in a brand new facility.
