Well at least this trial will bring to the surface all of the facts and should dispel or validate a lot of the conspiracy theories out there.

The statement adds that “USF publicly announced that ‘no credible witnesses’ supported Coach Leavitt’s account.  This announcement was made despite USF’s actual knowledge that Coach Leavitt’s account was supported by law enforcement, a coach and several players.  The USF assertion is insulting to those very credible eyewitnesses.’‘

The way I understood this statement was no one came out and said they saw Leavitt down on bended knee consoling Joel Miller as Leavitt claimed. To this day, I don't recall anyone besides Leavitt saying they saw this.

Oh, and have the Police officer lie as well.  That is brilliant strategy.  Only ask questions you know the answer to, and USF has a lot of questions they only have the partial story to.  My prediction is USF settles.

The foundation pays part of the coach's salary.  There are limits to how much someone at a public university can be paid.  They get around that by setting up a foundation.

I'm curious how you know this?  Were you part of the investigation team?

I would bet they believe they have all the answers they need.
