Walt Harris Named Big East's Top Coach

Walt Harris was named Big East Football Coach of the Year on Wednesday, for the second time in his career at the University of Pittsburgh.

Harris, who also won the award in 1997, has a 51-43 record in eight seasons as the Panthers' head coach.

Pittsburgh tied for the Big East title with a 4-2 record this year. The Panthers are 7-3 overall and will be making their fifth straight bowl trip, likely to a BCS bowl.

This is the Big East bonehead award of the year. When Pitt loses to 4-6 USF, that will go over real well!

Dont you think that LVille is kicking themselves in the ass for not leaven C-USA this year. They are better than everyone in the big east
