Or if the Coach gets guys that are qualtity, team first, people as well as being talented, we could really be something special.

Pistons won the NBA championship because they were a team.  Same thing for the Partiots in the Superbowl and Red Sox in the World Series.

on a side note... looking at scouts.com... we are listed as a medium interest on a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits for basketball for 2005/2006.   Very low chance of getting them, i woudl think, but the big east is already putting our names in players minds that are also thinking about UConn/Duke/KY.

I just hope they're not giving any of the potential recruits any false sense of the level of fan support here, that it may take some time. Guys expecting a big-time college basketball atmosphere will be severely disappointed and it could be a shock. Hopefully, this isn't what happened to Montavius ..........

Tripleb, the kids will get to see a big time college atmosphere in basketball just not at the Sundone but they will when they get to palces like the Carrier Dome, etc.  Oh Velcro I think you meant a complete 180 otherwise he would still be puching people out.

Too much hype in the media can go to make a big head in a kid. When you think you have a god complex,(please note:small g). and you really are just another fish in the sea, you're head begins to deflate, and sometimes players can't handle it. I think this is the situation here. Freshman, big head, realizes this is THE BIG TIME, can't keep up. blames everyone, has temper tantrum, leaves. This is why coach in his great wisdom and insight says he hopes he gets it together as an 18 year old man. Just my take on this.

Same thing happens with coaches, good thing ours is focused on the quality of this team and not, well, nevermind.
