A lot of coaches getting prematurely ejected this year. Ron Zook, John Thompson, Tony Samuel, Buddy Teevens, and now Tyrone Willingham. Someone at work told me David Cutcliffe is getting the axe too.

I think ND gave him the papers to make sure they can go after Meyer before Florida or another Big school takes him.

Its a sad day in college football.  This win now mentality or your gone.  I wonder if Bear Bryant would have lasted in this atmosphere.

Insight.com bowl in protest of Willingham's firing. As reported on KDKA.

Some TV station reported that Urban Meyer would be the new ND head Coach, then another said that it would be Zook.

Meanwhile one of the Top ND recruits supposedly just decommitted.

Cant we just all get along?  ;D

I agree ... and some are playing the race card here. He was their 3rd choice and NOW they want Meyer ... part of college football today.

To turn ND from the type of offense Ty inherited, nobody would have done better. NOW Meyer will benefit from the guys Ty brought in.

Think the guy is TOP Notch and will land somewhere else ...
