What we have here is Pitt's tune-up, shuffled to early December.  Their objective is to avoid injuries but still make sure we are all on the same page as to our hierarchy...

I think the Pitt fans have read the articles claiming that they have already won the BE BCS bid even if they lose to USF, so that makes the game much less important for them now.

Frankly, I think the game is much more important to USF at this point.

A win would do wonders to our psyche heading into the Big East and could give our recruiting a big lift.
