Even Todd Kalas is questioning Heath's decision to slow down the offense.

I'm guessing from the time you posted this we're well into the second half, flirting with double digit leads, with basically a 6 man rotation, with that 6th man being a walk-on .... You'd have to be a ******* fool to not stretch out every possession as far as possible to limit UCF's chances to get back in the game. As it is, they got back in because of late game ft shooting ... a direct result of tired legs .... yeah, let's run them some more ...

Tell that to todd kalas. I could care less. Funny how you picked my post out of all the others questioning the same thing. typical from you.

Spare me, sweetie .... Yours was the most concise, to the point post about it. And I don't care what Kalas said, that was his opinion. Late in the game, with a decent lead, with players that had played almost the whole game, I would think the last thing you'd want to do is potentially give UCF more time to work with missed shots in hurried up offense.... and, guess what, it worked!

Trip, you are right...  that sums it up right there.  It was a good decision to slow down... yes, we seem to make a few mistakes... we limited their possesions with a lead and the clock on our side.  That is text book.  I don't care if we are more efficient going balls to the wall... we have a lot of young players... and this is exactly how it should have been handled.

We won the game by 4... give them 3 more possessions and who knows... maybe we score each time and win by more... or maybe they hit 2 more 3's and we go cold.

Also, being shorthanded, having kardok playing so many minutes... conservative was smart in this case too.

The only thing I didn't like was a few dumb fouls far from the hoop with under 2 minutes... if you are going to try and limit possessions, let them waste time dribbling, don't foul in the back court anywhere.

Good to see a win with Gus and Leemow out.  Its only going to get tougher from here.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
