Hard to believe that the same St Francis team who lost to USF by 39 points beat Niagara who gave EMU such a hard time. But then again, it's hard to understand USF as well.  :-/

Ladies made a very good run, but the poor shooting continued...

pulled within 4 or 5 late in the game, but just couldn't get the shots to fall to catch up.

They beat EMU in turnovers by 9, and took 23 more shots than EMU, but shooting 28% compared to 46% will kill you every time

We only went six deep, and man pressed on every make the entire game.  And if I'm not mistaken, 4 players went 40 minutes.  They looked real tired down the stretch.  We didn't dress that many girls, so we must be pretty banged up.  And since we've only got one real post player right now (Nalini Miller), I guess they want to avoid playing in the halfcourt as much as possible, thus the press.  Plus they couldn't throw it in the ocean in the first half.  Lot of shots were just off the mark.

And as bad as some of the men's games have been officiated this year, today takes the cake.  Absolutely the worst performance from a crew I've seen in a long time.  Where do we find these clowns?  Forget the new facility, we need to up the ref budgets.  

Give credit to EMU though, they did a real nice job overcoming the athleticism advantage we had.  They're well coached, and made big shots when they needed them.
