they were not USF students, but companions.

The real problem is that students can buy 2 companion tickets. So its already 2:1. Then they get their friends to buy them for them, so essentially a whole family of UM fans were sitting with their USF student.

USF needs to change it so that companions can only be in the 200 & 300 level.

The whole stadium was more Miami than USF.  Piss poor showing by Tampa in general.

It's not hard to get into the student section...

My sister(a UCF student) got in with her friend just printing off multiple tickets.

I don't like them in my section either.  I donate for my tickets and perhaps I should sit in seats requiring no donation.

I had a dip-shi@t sitting in the row in-front of me wearing a USF jersey, but i noticed a UM logo underneath.

Sure enough, once we were losing 21-3, he removed his USF jersey, and he was wearing a UM shirt underneath.

I also heard conversations during the game and before hand, from a few USF students, wearing UM gear, saying that Miami is their #1 school.  One of which offered the excuse that USF doesn't yet have the "swagger" that Miami has.
