as a student i'm proud to say that i did my share and more of verbal berating of the pitiful excuse for students that decided to wear Miami colors in the student section.

lets just say it wasn't a pleasant experience for them to have us around.

Honestly, UCF fans were far worse.

I met some UM fans before the game that were friendly and I'm pretty sure they had actually attended UM. At least they used words with more than 2 or 3 letters and/or syllables. During the game had some UM trailer trash sit in front of us joking about how they were able to fake it to get into our section. They were not really disrespectful but they were really trashy. Every time the chick moved we saw the red lace and pimples on her ass whether we wanted to or not. The guys with the pants around their ankles and the jazz hands U were just ridiculous. Suspect that the closest they've gotten to UM was the letters on their shirt. Very classy. The worst, however, was going back to the tailgate after the game. My son was on crutches and some jerk Miami fan deliberatley ran right into him and then starts laughing about it and taunting him. The women with him were horrified, trying to stop him, but he just kept laughing, trying to pick a fight with someone on crutches. Now that takes class. There's a**holes everywhere. The Miami ones seemed rather more trashy, and just like most UF fans, probably do not even know where the school is located and never actulaly sat in a classroom.  And we have 4 more years of this.

I expected nothing less from the Classy Miami fans It all started with the tailgatting ******* [glow=red,2,300]Blasting Two live Crew Pop that P***Y[/glow] from his Truck over and over while standing on top of his truck making the U sign and even when an old couple asked them to please turn it down because there where kids around he just turn it up louder and dance around some more. It didnt improve once we got in side and those season ticket holders that sell their club seats to miami fans can bite me!

No problems here.  A really great UM fan was cooking steak and potato salad (warm) for his six buddies who eventually never came.  He shared all his food with us and wished us well.  UCF fans were WAY worse.  Except for the game, it was a great experience.  Sorry for all the negative that others endured.

Decided to sit in the student section with my friends since the people I sit next to in my section text the whole time and dont watch the game or cheer. This lady and her daughter kept telling the ushers to come down and kick my friends out of the rows because they weren't in individual seats. It was garbage to see her everytime the row next to her got crowded, which had no effect on her seats, she would turn around and wave down the ushers and point at everyone to remove. It's the student section for cryin out loud, who gives a **** if the rows are crowded.

we had 3-4 in our tailgate they were fine

we had 2 guys right behind us they cheered and never said anything negative

we had people walk in front of us lok at us and keep walking

we saw a few scuffles that ended very quickly

we saw a scuffle with 2-3 minutes left in the student section

over all the crowd was fine I think I saw more unruly Bulls fans than Canes fans

We also saw a mid40's early 50's guy chuck a full $7 beer onto the playing field and quickly be ushered out by what look like a Troy Palmaleaus (SP) brother undercover cop

we saw the cop and also noted his resemblance to Polamalu! I think he'll be doing Head and Shoulder commercials soon!

No issues during the game but the only Miami fans close to me were friends and any ribbing was good natured.

Had a Miami fan decide to push his way into the front row and plant himself in front of my friend at the end of the game when we were waiting for the Alma Mater to be played (lots of Miami fans had pushed to the front at that point). We told him to move cause someone was there and it was our seats, when he wouldn't move or stop being obnoxious and I could smell the alcohol on him I got a field cop who told him to leave or get escorted out.

I rather enjoyed the drunk guy yelling the whole time that they weren't our seats and we had no right to be there...he was still at the top yelling down at the field when we got up to the top a few minutes later.

Apparently a Miami fan who was standing in the aisle made a smart comment to my friend saying "why don't you call security on us"...she kindly explained we don't care if you're in the aisle or empty seats but it's different when you push your way into seats where the people are still there. I guess Miami fans thought I was just being a b*tch.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
