That USF can't AFFORD to hire more accomplished coordinators on both sides of the ball and position coaches to help them.

However, our coaches salary pool is what it is, unless some of you are going to donate a boatload of money over the next 5 years. In the interim, we need to go back to what we we used to be very good at....making the most of the scant resources we have and making a few key changes along the special teams and OL. The OL has gotten worse the last couple of season after Frey left for WVU and now Michigan.

The problem is we are using our scant resources to hire guys with ****** track records.  Also proven and competent doesn't mean they have to be from a big name school and require a boatload of money.  There are competent coordinators at the lower levels who would be getting a pay raise even with our scant resources that would love a chance to come here where our resources are much greater than what they have now.  I have named some of these guys in the past but i don't feel like breaking them out yet again to be ignored or get the "well you can't guarantee he will be a success so we shouldn't look that direction" type responses, as if we can guarantee any coach will be successful here.

we need to rewrite our play book, cuz heres our deal, 1st down: either an gut rush by plancher or a keeper, second down a rollout to the loaded side of the field waiting on either bogan or AJ to get open and hardly checking other options, 3rd scramble, 4th <2 go for it, push over the middle, otherwise punt.

If you actually look at the production of our offense it is scary bad. 5 games where we score 17 points or less. 3 games with less than 130 yards passing. 3 games with 11 or less first downs. Ok, so BJ was a freshman.  I have said this before, we still had tons of experience at running back, TE, loads of experience at wr and enough playing time logged at OL to not have such a putrid offense. A change of some sort to the scheme needs to be in order.

Ok who are you?  Seriously?  All I've seen you do is make cryptic posts that seem to read like you have inside information on here.  Im not saying what you say isn't true I'm just interested in what your sources are and who you are.

Offensive scheme is three and out to move the ball via punt.

No running game. QB and receivers not on the same page.  Best gains are when BJ scrambles and makes something out of a broken play.

The only time or offense goes anywhere is when BJ is scrambling and makes something happen.  It is very rare for a play to be called and executed with success.

Is this offense any different than the last few years?  It looks like the same crap to me year after year.
